Have I ever mentioned that I know very important people in high places? I don’t mean the White House or Krispy Kreme Doughnuts kind high places, I mean REALLY high places like Gap Corporate. I know right?…Now you know why I’m so damn popular AND cuddly.

One of my really important friends, Jaime, works at Gap Inc. in their communications department, doing really important things, people! And even though he works in the communications department, and not the design department, I’m pretty sure he’s the one who came up with adding spandex to their denim.

Whaa, did I just write denim? Well, I can tell you this, girls and boys. The next time I get hassled about showing my ID when purchasing a bottle of wine, I’m just going to let the clerk know I use the word demin, in instead of saying jeans. Next thing you know I’ll be calling pants, slacks!

Anyway, so my friend Jamie told the Gap folks that like DOZENS of people read this blog every month and that you guys really deserved a little special sumpin, sumpin for plowing your way through my drivel. They agreed, and felt that you all should step away from your computers and go buy yourselves some underwear with functioning elastic waistbands.

(Also, I’m worried some of you may still be wearing mom jeans. So, why don’t you go-ahead and pick-up a pair of low-cut jeans while your at it. People, don’t make me institute a dress code here at BuenoBaby.)
