Artist M.I.A. performed at last night's Grammy Awards, wearing a sheer black body stocking covered with a polka dot bikini, on her baby's due date. Big news or big deal?

It was a pretty grody outfit (nothing to do with the baby belly). Maybe she did it hoping to get some labor going. I felt like I was past due for the whole last trimester. Then I ended up having to be induced almost two weeks past my due date! Ug! You can bet, as soon as baby was in the safe zone, I was doing all of those physical things they told me not to do cuz it could start labor. You can also bet it didn't work. I say, whatever gets ya movin. I hope it worked for her anyway. I hope she's up at the hospital right now.

I could have performed six days past my due date with my third. Seriously. Every day I walked into the office past 40 weeks there was a huge collective groan. If singing and dancing could move labor along? I'd be one of the girls in the dance cage stage left.
