Secret Santa time is here.  In offices around the nation, employees and employers are reaching their hands into a sack and pulling out the name of a co-worker; it's time to put in $20 and buy something for someone you might not know all that well.  So, what to purchase?  Here are 7 full-proof presents that won't offend (and may actually be appreciated!).

1. Gift card:  This is an old stand by... for a reason.  Gifts cards to places like Target, Barnes & Noble, and Starbucks will be appreciated by just about everyone (even if they're only used to buy a gift for another person!).

2. Picture frame:  Most people have families... or a pet... or, um, a favorite plant.  A tasteful picture frame, sized 4x6 or 5x7, can be used by pretty much anyone.  And if your co-worker has kids, she'll love the chance to show off her brood.

3. Key finder:  It's the universal problem; everyone loses his keys.  Enter the key finder, the handy little gadget that emits a beep telling you tha you left your keys in the fridge (again).  Just don't give it to your co-worker if it will cause tension.  ("Oh, so I forget to turn in the Johnson report one time...")

4. Mug warmer:  Is your co-worker a coffee drinker?  Is she constantly getting called away from her cubicle?  Then a mug warmer is perfect to keep her drink toasty warm.

5. Tea gift set:  Is tea your co-worker's... cup of tea?  (Hey, they can't all be winners!)  Tea gift sets are homey, yummy, and not as likely to cause an allergic reaction (that's why staying away from food is a good idea unless you are certain of your work buddy's dietary restrictions).

6. One-Can Refrigerator:  It's practical and a conversation piece.  This one-can cooler plugs into a USB port and cools one can for when your co-worker wants a cold one (not that kind of cold one) right from his desk.

7.  A Picasso:  Give your co-worker a Picasso.  Note pad, that is.  Alleviate your co-worker's boredom by giving them a twisty note pad that can morph into dozens of Picasso-esque abstract shapes.

What do you think is the perfect gift for a co-worker?  Hit us up with your ideas here!
