I'm torn about this latest Gosselin news.  One one hand, I'd love to see Kate turn her dance partner into a Jon Gosselin-esque dead-inside automatron (just to verify her awesome power).  On the other hand, what did we ever do to you, Dancing with the Stars?  I specifically requested that Kate zip it (especially after her latest foray into writing).  I've begged the tabloids to stop covering the love lives of Jon and his ex.  And I've named the Gosselins one of the worst reality families of all time.  This fell on deaf ears.  In fact, ABC is convinced that Kate will be a "huge draw."

And while some might question Kate's seemingly insatiable need to be in the public eye, rest assured the blame for her newest TV stint falls squarely at the feet of the deserved: why, Jon Gosselin, of course!

With Jon's ongoing series of mishaps, Kate is left as the primary income earner in the household and she's taking it very seriously, sources told RadarOnline.com.

 "Kate's the kind of woman who will do whatever is necessary for her children," one source said. "It's great for her to be on the show, but she did it ONLY in a way that benefits her family."

Wow, her exploits are spun so well, I'm feeling a little dizzy (And it's called "working at Pizza Hut," Jon.  There's no shame in it, especially when you've got 8 kids to support).  Apparently, it's a necessary chore being on a top-rated show, wearing beautiful costumes, and appearing on magazine covers.  What a saint that Kate is.  God bless her.
