One of our favorite guest panelists, Sarah from The Ohana Mama, asks the question that's probably been on your mind ever since you popped out your little bundle of joy.  Your child is fast asleep after hours of trying to get her to take a nap, and then, you smell it.

A poopy diaper.

So, do you change her or not?  Sarah weighs in:

I know I will get flamed for this but yes, there is a high probability that she is currently hosting a poop in her diaper while she dreams of whatever an almost-two year old dreams about. And I pray that she doesn’t get a rash...

Oh crap…nevermind…I’m going to go change her right now…wish me luck that she goes back to sleep or doesn’t wake up…

Do you change your child if she's sleeping?

This only happened to me once. My son was a few months old and had been asleep in his crib for about an hour when my husband and I went in to check on him and discovered that the poor kid was sporting a poopy diaper. After a few minutes of debate, we decided we had to change him. And miraculously, the child slept through the entire changing, cold baby wipes and all! Seriously, he never so much as opened an eye! Now he's eight years old and thinks this story is hilarious, of course :)
