Mom Daily: Doctors and Obama

The healtcare system in the United States is broken. That fact is pretty undisputable. But during President Obama's press conference on the new health bill, he made remarks that raised the ire of some doctors.

On MomLogic, Nina L. Shapiro, MD takes exception with Obama's comments regarding doctors performing medical procedures strictly for money:

Doing ANYTHING for personal financial gain alone is unethical… While there are many unethical doctors out there, believe it or not, the majority of us ARE ethical. We enjoy seeing our patients stay or become healthy, we want to do the right thing, and we try to do so to the best of our abilities.
