Mom Daily: No Difference Between Kids of LGBT and Straight Parents

Looks like opponents of gay adoption can no longer claim that children of same-sex couples do badly in school: a recent study by a Stanford University Associate Professor shows that there is no difference between kids of same-sex couples and their counterparts with heterosexual parents. It's certainly not surprising.

And there's more:

Rosenfeld also found that children living in family homes do much better in school than those in group homes: “Children of all non-group quarters family types, including households headed by same-sex couples, are dramatically more likely to make normal progress through school than students living in group quarters.”

This goes to show that there are lots of children who are in need of homes; children thrive in a family setting. Do people really need to manufacture reasons why gay couples can't adopt just because of outdated beliefs and prejudices? What do you think about same-sex couples adopting kids?
