Mom Daily: When the Kids Choose Their Own Haircuts

It's quite possibly the scariest moment in your life as a parent: letting your child pick her own haircut. OK, so it's not quite that bad, but you never know when your child will sit in a chair looking like Abigail Breslin and leave looking like this broad:

This was a hard leap for me, particularly because I'm usually the one styling or helping style, and I've been back and forth in the past with what works and what doesn't... I must say, they chose quite well, if I do say so myself. I guess it wasn't too bad after all.

My kids have gone from Mohawks to buzz cuts. It's just hair, we know it will grow back eventually. Don't get us started on the piercing or tattoos! We're not there yet, but we see it on the horizon. Ouch!!! Thanks, Sai "ONE of THE GUYS"
