Pray for Me... I Have the Sniffles

In the spirit of family togetherness and the holidays, we spent the afternoon baking Christmas cookies with my brother, Jordan, his wife, Lisa and my nephew Max. Actually, they baked cookies with the kids; I sipped coffee and marveled at the mess six dozen sugar cookies can produce in one previously clean kitchen. The high cost of baked goods – totally getting that now.

Then on the drive home I fell ill. My head began aching and my mouth developed a metallic taste. Since I quit sucking on my car keys like months ago, I’m guessing the penny flavor in my mouth has something to do with my malady.

Anyway, sick or not, I have loads of Christmas to-do’s...
