Hot Topics: Facebook Nursing Protest
On December 27, pro-breastfeeding moms on Facebook changed their profile pics to photos of nursing mothers and their statuses to read: Hey Facebook, breastfeeding is not obscene!
This "nurse-in" was part of the ongoing protest of the removal of nursing photos from Facebook. The pro-breastfeeding group now tops out at almost 75,000 and is the largest of multiple pro-lacto groups on the popular social networking site.
So what do you think? If breastfeeding is legal in public, what is the big deal of breastfeeding pics on Facebook? Do you support the moms, or do you see Facebook's point of view?

I agree, why dont they start taking pictures of the minors with 1/2 their clothes off, off the site. I myself would not post a picture of me breastfeeding, but thats just me, I also think your a woman, and if you want to post that picture, so be it. facebook sucks anyway!

I am 100% for breastfeeding.
I am also 100% for doing what feels best for you.
I don't think breastfeeding in public is wrong. On the other hand, Im not really sure why you'd want to put pictures of yourself breastfeeding online for a direct view for the internet world to see, but i guess to each there own.
On a different note, why dont these people who are against the breastfeeding pics go after the teens who are take pictures of themselves half naked and post that. Now thats obscene!
