Jenny Park of http://spoonforkbacon.com says: I know, deviled eggs are pretty retro, but IMO they deserve a second chance. I give them a modern spin by brightening them up with fresh herbs and spices. They're also fun for the holidays because they look so fancy. And strangely they're the first to go at parties. I guess they have staying power for a reason. Enjoy!
Dana Joy Altman ( http://www.realfoodrehab.com ) says: When I had my first grown-up party, this is the appetizer I served. It comes from my mom, who served these when I was growing up. It reminds me of the 70's and her glamorous cocktail parties. It's the perfect little bit to serve with a glass of chilled wine.
Beth Le Manach says: For me, the most stressful part of entertaining is that moment when guests arrive. They end up gathering in the kitchen while I'm trying to get the dinner ready. And if you have an open kitchen, it's even worse. So, I've devised this handy little appetizer platter that keeps guests busy and in their seats! :) (Trust me, it works!)
Beth Le Manach ( http://www.youtube.com/KinCommunity ): The idea for this dish began with a humble jar of fig jam. I added a few culinary complements and voila! A crowd-pleasing appetizer was born. It's so simple and elegant that you'll make this your go-to entertaining dish!
