My son is starting 6th grade which is middle school. I want to make his transition as easy as possible by helping him to keep organized and helping him with homework and school activities. Outside of that one of my goals is to clear out and organize the many closets, cabinets and drawers throughout my home. We have so many things that have accumulated over the years that we don't use. Many of the things are in good to new condition and I will donate them.

I am going to force myself to take time out of my crazy work schedule to be fully present for my daughter's preschool days. Well, when I'm in town that is. But when I'm not on a plane I'm determined to drag my tired ass to preschool orientation, her first day back to school and any other event that's important to her. Tracy

Colleges definitely offer the community a wonderful opportunity for plays, lectures, music, etc. Love living in a university town!

Thankfully Moanna is not headed off to school for a few more years, and we may actually home school her. However, working at a college means that I "go back to school." So, I do have hopes and dreams to make it through this year with less chaos than last year. 1. I won't give it ALL to work so that have something left over to give my family and home 2. I will take advantage of plays and other perks that come with working at a college 3. I will attempt to do little bits of house work most days so that it doesn't pile up I could go on... but the idea is to stay balanced as the school year progresses
