Do public figures have a right to privacy? Where does one draw the line between the persona and the person?

Well, a really good actor has mastered his public persona, and should use it as a tool to inspire America. Hence, the Jolie-Pitt Cheetoh-eating dynasty. And, in some sense, the Dooce-Jon Dorito-inhaling tribe. In this day and age, is privacy really the most valuable commodity...?
I think reality TV has in some ways made exhibitionism and narcissism acceptable indulgences, for all parties involved. I don't know, ask Brad Pitt. Would he really trade everything he has for a more invisible fence, as he suggested on Oprah?

Absolutely have a right to privacy, and especially when it comes to their families. If you are sitting outside my house lying in wait for my kid, I'm not going to take kindly to it, and I don't blame them when they get p.o.'d. They have to acknowledge that they traffic in people's interest in them as people, but there are limits.
