Roger Ebert: Inspiration
Roger Ebert appeared on Oprah the other day, talking about the thyroid cancer that caused him to lose much of his jaw. The man famous for critiquing movies on his television show has not been able to speak since 2006 (or drink or eat). Yet, his perservering spirit, writing, and twittering have been a positive, inspirational example to everyone. It's hard to complain about the weather when Ebert doesn't complain about his trials. Kudos, Mr. Ebert.
