Tanis Miller spends most of her time reading, writing and rednecking in the wilds of Alberta. Her blog, Attack of the Redneck Mommy is a humorous and insightful look at the joys of domestic life in an undomesticated setting. Her work has been featured on CNN, CBC, CBC News Network, The Globe and Mail and in a variety of Canadian and American newspapers. Her writing has been published in a variety of online and print magazines and several of pediatric medical journals.
Attack of the Redneck Mommy won the Best Canadian Blog award in the 2010 and 2008 Bloggies as well as being named as one of the top ten mommy bloggers in 2010 and 2009 by Babble.com’s list of Top 50 mommybloggers and is listed as one of the top 25 blogs in Facebook's Networkblogs. Recently named as one of Canada's best blogs by Canadian Family magazine, Tanis continues to write about inappropriate subject matter on her blog while in her spare time she is a public speaker covering topics such as how to survive losing a child as well as advocating for the rights of special needs children. Her kids would be very proud of her accomplishments if only she would stop telling them she writes internet porn for a living and explain what a blogger really is.
