I could easily nominate myself, but I feel that no one in this world could possibly be more deserving of a makeover than my sister, Kaylene.  In the past year, she has suffered a miscarriage. As though that would not be enough, six months later, she and her boyfriend were involved in a car accident. She broke her back in several places and her ankle, as well. Four days later, our step-brother crossed a busy road and was struck by an oncoming car. Despite her injuries, my sister worried more about the others who were hurt. Sadly, a month later, her boyfriend of two years passed away, as a result of his injuries. She spent the summer in a body cast, essentially, trapped at home. She has been unable to work because of her injuries and was recently turned down for temporary disability. Every day, she is in pain. Emotionally, physically. Worst of all, she has lost faith in herself. Despite it all, she is in the process of a fresh start. She is planning on beginning school to become a respiratory therapist this November. Her clothes are ill-fitting and in shambles, as my family is unable to help too much financially, in addition to care and medical expenses. . I know that something as simple as a change of dress can make you feel like a million bucks.  I would love for her to feel beautiful and confident as she starts this new journey.
