My name is Joni. I'm from Salt Lake City, UT. I'm a SAHM who homeschool's our four kids (ages 11 and under) so I don't have much time or money to spend on myself. With the stress of trying to keep our home right now we've had to make things even tighter than ever before. I'd love to dress up for my husband because he works so hard to take care of all of us and never complains about it. For my kids, so they can see mom look nice for once instead of in the same jeans and tee's. For myself, I know this is selfish but I know how important it is for self esteem to take care of myself and I'm really trying to start doing that. Raised in a culture that encourages women to be humble and praises them for putting themselves last it's been hard to break some of those habits. But I'm no longer sharing those beliefs and I want my kids to see that everyone has value and that it is healthy to take care of yourself. Especially for my girls. Thank you!
