5th grader Kameron Slade of Queens, New York was selected by his classmates to deliver a speech he wrote about the importance of defending same-gender marriage. His principal at PS 195 told him it was "inappropriate" and he was not permitted to deliver the speech at school. Fortunately for us, NY1 gave this youngster a platform to convey his eloquent and open-hearted message.
