This cocktail is easy to make and tasty, too! It's the perfect way to ring in the new year. 3...2...1... Cheers!
Serves 5
5 sugar cubes
5 tbsp (50 g) pomegranate seeds
1 bottle Angostura bitters (5-6 dashes each)
5 ounces (150 mL) brandy
1 bottle (350 mL) dry or brut champagne
Place a sugar cube and 1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds into each flute. Add 5 to 6 dashes of bitters over each sugar cube.
Pour 1 ounce (30 mL) brandy into each serving and top each glass with a generous pour of champagne. Serve immediately.
