These days there usually nothing smooth about travel. Add children to the mix and oy, it feels like a big shlep. From long security lines, to flight delays, to time zone issues and keeping everyone on schedule and track, traveling with a child, especially an infant can be tough. Jill Simonian of thefabmom.com, Stacee Bucciarelli of medievalmom.com, and Ellen Schmidt of babymeetscity.com share some of their travel woes, tales and tips. Some of the tips: always bring snacks, order a basinet to the hotel room, bring special treats like books and toys so that you're children have something to look forward to. Oh, and television.
